Synopsis

ALPHAGIRL

17-year old Nastassja’s visit to her father turns from bad to worse when the rebellious teenager meets her dad‘s acting partner and friend, Kai.

    Martin completed his A-Levels as well as his B. A. in history and literature in England, his father's native country. Back in Berlin he added a Master's degree in Cultural Theory/Media Philosophy at Humboldt University. In 2010 he started his career as independent director and photographer. His debut short film MISFORTUNE won the Best Student Prize at the Mexico Int'l Film Festival 2013. The same year, he was involved as Assistant Director in the Cannes Discovery Award winner COME AND PLAY (dffb). His second short HAPPY TEARS won various international awards and ran in competition at the 2014 edition of the Raindance Festival in London.
