Synopsis

“Apricot Trees” plays in Anatolia. Due to the traditional family structures only the son can come into an inheritance. Thus the wish for a son is great. For this, Ibrahim accepted a lot. Every action seemed reasonable. With this he enormously changed the life of his family.

    Irfan Akcadag

    Irfan Akcadag was born in 1985 in Adana/Turkey. In 1992 he emigrated with his family to Germany. In 2014 he successfully completed his study of film at the Ruhrakademie in Schwerte. During his studies several of his short films and documentaries received much attention in the festival scene. He lives and works in Dortmund/Germany.
