Synopsis

In the thirst for adventure young teacher Daniel heads off to his first big journey around the world. But on his first stop in the Indonesian megacity Jakarta, Daniel is totally over challenged by the foreign culture. He loses sight of his goals and finally of himself. When he meets young Clara, Daniel believes to escape from his torturing loneliness by falling in love with her.

    Thorsten Wenning

    Born in 1982 in the city of Stade near Hamburg. After High School and Civil Service Thorsten attends several internships at film production companies and works as an editor for short and feature movies. In 2005 he starts studying history and philosophy at the Humboldt-University in Berlin. Between 2006 and 2013 Thorsten studies film directing at the Film Academy Baden-Wuerttemberg and receives the diploma with his first feature film.
