Towards a world cruise on a containership I was rudly awakened at night by my parents to flee with my family from the boat. Since then I call Hamburg my Home port.
At the age of 16, I attempt to my first cinematographic walk with a super 8 camera from the flea market. Put my camera initially aside and begin to play the drums in various bands for years, until I found a musiclabel and a publisheredition at the EMI music publishing after my high-school diploma. The desire to make film, both feature and short, I cannot deprive. I give up the label and focus on filmmaking – shooting musicvideos and first commercials. Obtained gold records and apllied finally at the filmschool - I am accepted and move to Cologne to study directing. As technicly accomplished director I begin the studies and discover my passion and talent for leadership in theatrical performance. Matured, experienced and full of drive I head back
to my home port to shoot film, both feature and short - The important thing is that it's: emotional, authentic and aesthetic!
