Synopsis

Meat was his life and exactly this is what Klaus left piled behind. Klaus is a butcher and on the journey to his personal fortune he discovers the previously unknown succulent appetite.

A short film about a man who follows his desire to travel and embarks on a quest to find himself while overlooking the fine print.

    Moritz Lenz

    Moritz was born Nov. 5th 1988 in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany. In addition to school he was involved in several drama plays as actor, director, musician and technician. To fulfil his alternative civilian service he went to Sao Paulo, Brazil, where he worked in a cultural centre for one year, which had its main focus on youth-theater. In his spare time he made his first documental short film “Antonio” (2009) about a man from Sao Paulo who sells bananas. Back in Germany he did several internships in different film productions in Berlin. “Schubert and Mambo” (2011) is his first full length documentary and gives an insight into his work as an independent and freelance film maker. Since 2011 he studies director for documentary at the Filmakademie Baden- Württemberg Filmschool.
