Synopsis

Trapped in a big city, haunted by his contradictions and isolated from his friends, Julian is a teenager yearning for direction and substance. The vision of a secluded island slowly hijacks his daily life.

    Maxime Fauconnier

    Maxime Fauconnier (b. 1989) has been working as an fine art photographer between New York and Brussels for the last 7 years. Gradually evolving towards filmmaking, JULIAN is Fauconnier’s first fiction project, in direct continuity with his photographic work, focusing on urban youth and its codes, excesses and disillusions.
