Synopsis

David (41) tries to cheat the death of his wife Evelyn (37) through the help of cryonics. When they wake up from cryo sleep in the far future, they find themselves to be alone and trapped inside a deserted cryo facility. But even after hundreds of years David has to learn the hard way that death is an undeniable part of life.

    Christoph Heimer

    Christoph Heimer was born in 1987 in Bonn and discovered his fascination for filmmaking early on at the age of 12 years when he started to shoot several short films for the "Medienprojekt Wuppertal". Soon his hobby became an obsession and so he went through several internships including "Pictorion Das Werk" in Düsseldorf, after finishing high school. Afterwards he began studying directing at "Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg" in 2007. With his Short "KRYM" he was winner of the 20th Century Fox Award in 2009. 2010 he studied for one semester at the Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. He graduated in Ludwigsburg in 2015 with his film KRYO. The movie had its premiere at January 19th at Max Ophüls Festival Saarbrücken, Germany.
