Synopsis

Irina Rybakova, a Russian woman of 55 years, lives illegally in Germany, working as a 24-hour-caretaker – in the home of Johann Kreutz, who was in Russia 67 years ago, as a commanding SS-Unterscharführer. Today, suffering from severe dementia, he demands immense around-the clock caretaking.

    Felix Charin

    Felix Charin was born in Neustrelitz, Mecklenburg, East Germany to a German mother and a Russian father. He grew up in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Germany) and Oblast Tambov (Russia). Since high school he has been involved in film and journalistic work – working in different positions in Berlin and Washington, DC. Complementing to that he has always been working in other fields as well– mostly in caretaking for elderly and handicapped. From 2007 – 2011 he studied at the Munich University of TV and Film. Other alumni include the Oscar winning directors Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck and Caroline Link.
